- Prices Are Either Very High or Very Low. When a major artist’s concert sells out quickly, people become desperate to buy tickets. Many are willing to spend large amounts as they consider it a major life experience. They often get scammed by people selling it a much higher rate. Other fake sellers sell them at very low prices to tempt those desperate into buying.
- Several Screenshots Are Sent. In their attempts to win a person’s trust, fake sellers will send their prospects multiple screenshots to make their deal seem genuine. Many of these screenshots, however, are digitally altered.
How To Buy Concert Tickets Safely
- Buy From Official Platforms as Much as Possible. Your first option to buy tickets should always be official platforms like BookMyShow. They are the ones who are authorized to sell tickets to concerts and other events within India.
- Verify Any Sellers as Much as You Can. In case tickets have sold out on official platforms and you need to buy second-hand, verify all sellers carefully. - Make The Transaction In-Person. Once you have verified the seller, always make the ticket transaction face-to-face. Never pay anything beforehand. Make sure you meet them in person and pay them once you have the authentic ticket in your possession.
Watching your favourite artist perform is definitely a dream come true. But as much as possible, try buying the tickets from official sites. If you aren’t able to do so, always exercise caution. Only buy from other people after you have verified their authenticity and if they agree to let you pay them in person for the ticket.
